Terms of Service
Last updated September 19, 2026
These are the terms for using Linkboxer. It's currently an invite-only preview run by a single person, not a company with a legal team — this is a plain, good-faith attempt to set clear expectations, not a wall of boilerplate.
Your account
You need an account to save, tag, or share links. You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Linkboxer. Sign-up is invite-only during the preview — an invite code doesn't transfer ownership of an account or entitle anyone else to use it.
Your content
Whatever you save — links, notes, tags, clips — is yours. We don't claim ownership of it. We store it so we can show it back to you, and (for automatic tagging and Clips) send it to Anthropic's API to generate tags or extract a quote, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Sharing to Community
Sharing a link to the public Community feed is your choice, made one link at a time. Once shared, its title and URL are visible to anyone, account or not. By sharing something, you're confirming it's yours to share and you're giving Linkboxer permission to display it publicly on that feed. You can remove your own shares at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Linkboxer to:
- Share anything illegal, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Spam the Community feed, or share links you don't have the right to share.
- Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
We can remove any shared link and suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our discretion. To report content on the Community feed, email support@linkboxer.com — we'll review it.
The preview, and what "coming soon" means
Linkboxer is presently a web-only, invite-only preview, free to use. iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS apps are in development but not yet released. Founding member pricing (see the home page) describes what we intend to offer once billing exists — it isn't active yet, and nothing about your account will be charged without your agreement at the time billing actually launches.
Availability
We try to keep Linkboxer up and your data safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted availability — this is a small, independently-run service, not a guaranteed-uptime product. Back up anything irreplaceable, and use the built-in export if you ever want a full copy of what you've saved.
No warranty, limited liability
Linkboxer is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Linkboxer and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
These terms may change as the product does — particularly once billing launches. We'll update the date at the top of this page when they do, and note anything significant for signed-in accounts.
